Who we are. DRVX LTD (company no. 17519121), Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ, is the data controller for personal information we collect through this website and our driver supply business. Contact: accounts@drvx.co.uk.
Data protection registration. Registered with the ICO, registration no. ZC278321.
DRVX Transport bookings are covered by the transport privacy notice. Drivers who work through DRVX get a separate driver privacy notice in the DRVX Drivers app. What we collect. The information you send us (such as your name, company, email address, telephone number and details of your enquiry or booking), information needed to supply drivers and invoice for work (such as site addresses, contacts and signed timesheets), and payment records. If you accept a quote online, we also keep a record of the acceptance (your typed signature, the date and time, your IP address and browser, and the terms version) as evidence of the agreement. We use the IP address of website requests briefly to stop abuse; it is not kept with your enquiry.
Why we use it and our lawful bases. To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes (steps you ask us to take before a contract); to supply drivers, issue invoices and take payments (performing our contract with you); to keep accounting, tax and employment business records (legal obligation); and to prevent fraud and abuse, deal with queries and claims, and run and improve our business (our legitimate interests). We need your contact and booking details to supply a driver; without them we cannot.
Website chat. Our website chat assistant uses AI (Cloudflare Workers AI) to answer general questions from our own information. It never sets prices or makes decisions about you, and you can ask to talk to a person at any time. Chats are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Please don’t put sensitive personal information in the chat.
Who we share it with. The driver supplied to you gets the site, contact and job details they need. We use service providers that act for us: Cloudflare (website hosting, security checks such as Turnstile, and the chat assistant), our email provider, our accounting and payroll software (Xero) and payment providers. Some of them (for example Cloudflare) may process data outside the UK, including in the USA; where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We may also share information where the law requires it. We do not sell your data.
Marketing. We may contact businesses that could use our services (for example hauliers and logistics firms) using business contact details they publish, or that appear in public registers such as Companies House and the Traffic Commissioner’s publications. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests. We only send unsolicited marketing emails to limited companies and other corporate bodies, never to sole traders or individuals unless they have agreed. Every message says who we are and lets you opt out. Reply STOP or email accounts@drvx.co.uk and we’ll add you to our do-not-contact list. You have an absolute right to object to marketing.
Driver sign-ups. If you sign up on our Drive with DRVX page, we keep what you send us (your name, phone, email, town or postcode, licence categories, Driver CPC expiry, whether you have a digital tachograph card, any extra qualifications, when you can work, whether you have the right to work in the UK, how you heard about us and any message) to contact you about driver work and to match you to client bookings. We do this because you ask us to and tick to agree (consent), and to take steps you ask for before any contract. Your answers are as you give them: if you go forward, we check your licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card and right to work properly before any work. We don’t pass your details to a client unless you agree to a booking with them, and we never charge drivers a fee for finding work. You can withdraw at any time by emailing accounts@drvx.co.uk and we will delete your sign-up. If you don’t go on to work through DRVX, we delete it within 12 months of your last contact with us. Drivers who join get a separate driver privacy notice in the DRVX Drivers app.
Partner referrals. Some approved DRVX partners refer drivers and businesses to us, using a personal link or by telling us about someone. If you sign up through a partner’s link, or a partner told us about you before you signed up, we record which partner referred you so we can pay them a referral fee. That partner can then see, in its secure DRVX partner area, only: your name, your status with us (invited, signed up, approved, active or left), the date you signed up, your total hours worked through DRVX and the commission it has earned from your referral. It never sees your contact details, licence, documents, pay, timesheets or anything else, and no other partner sees anything about you. If a partner tells us about you, it gives us your name and phone or email (and possibly your licence type and a short note); we use these only to match your sign-up to that partner, and DRVX does not contact you because of it. If a partner introduces your business, we record the business contact details it gives us and the rates we agree with you; the partner sees your company name, the status of the introduction (submitted, contacted, won or lost) and its commission, and sees the agreed rates only if DRVX chooses to share them. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: running and paying for our referral scheme, and the partner’s interest in being paid for introductions. We have weighed these against your interests and keep what is shared to the minimum. You can object at any time by emailing accounts@drvx.co.uk, and we will stop showing your details to the partner. Referral records are kept while they can earn commission and then as accounting records (six years); a partner’s note of someone who never signs up is deleted within 12 months.
How long we keep it. Invoices, payment records and signed timesheets: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to. Records we must keep as an employment business: at least one year after the last supply. Enquiries and quotes that do not go ahead: only as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. Website chats: 30 days. We do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing.
Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it (including an absolute right to object to marketing), to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Contact accounts@drvx.co.uk; we reply within one month. If you are unhappy, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
Cookies. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We count page visits on our own server without cookies and without storing IP addresses or other personal data (only daily totals per page, referring website and device type). The booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam.
Terms of business
Driver supply. Version 2, October 2026. Last reviewed 18 October 2026. Needs solicitor review.
- Who we are. DRVX LTD, registered in England & Wales, company no. 17519121, registered office Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ (“DRVX”, “we”). Contact: accounts@drvx.co.uk, bookings@drvx.co.uk. DRVX LTD is not registered for VAT.
- Services. DRVX LTD supplies drivers to business clients in the transport and logistics sector on a temporary, ongoing or short-notice basis, as agreed for each booking. When we supply a driver we act as an employment business under the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003: DRVX engages and pays the driver, and the driver works under your supervision and direction. These terms are for business clients only.
- These terms and bookings. These terms apply to every driver we supply to you and are agreed before we supply a driver. Each booking is agreed in writing (including by email), setting out dates, location, the work required, the vehicle type and the agreed rates. Your own terms do not apply unless we agree in writing.
- The drivers we supply. Before a driver starts, we tell you the driver’s name and confirm that we have checked their identity, right to work, driving licence categories, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card, and that they are willing to do the work. Tell us when you book about any other qualification, experience or authorisation the work needs, and any risks to health and safety, so we can check the driver is suitable.
- Pricing. Rates are agreed with the client before work begins and depend on the requirement. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling. No VAT is added while DRVX LTD is not VAT registered; if that changes, we will tell you in advance.
- Timesheets. The driver records hours on a timesheet for each shift, which your supervisor checks and signs. Signed timesheets are the basis of our invoices, so please check them carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
- Invoicing and payment. Invoiced after work, typically weekly, 14–30 day terms. The applicable payment term is stated on each invoice. Payment may be made by bank transfer or by the online payment methods shown on the invoice.
- Late payment. If you pay late, we may claim statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 at 8% a year above the Bank of England base rate, plus fixed compensation for each late invoice (£40, £70 or £100, depending on the invoice amount) and any further reasonable costs of recovery.
- Client responsibilities. The client is responsible for providing suitable, roadworthy and insured vehicles and accurate information about the work. In particular you: (a) hold any operator’s licence needed and keep your vehicles legal and roadworthy; (b) insure your vehicles for the driver to drive them, and hold the employers’ and public liability insurance that covers agency workers on your sites; (c) supervise and direct the driver, give a site induction, safety information and any protective equipment needed, and tell us about any accident, injury or dangerous occurrence (you are normally the person responsible for RIDDOR reporting); (d) plan work so the driver can keep to the drivers’ hours rules and the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005, and never ask a driver to break the law; and (e) under the Agency Workers Regulations 2010, give the driver access to your shared facilities and job vacancies from their first day, and give us the information we ask for about pay and conditions of comparable employees so that the driver gets equal treatment after 12 weeks in the same role.
- If you are not satisfied with a driver. Tell us as soon as possible, with your reasons. We will look into it and, where we can, offer a replacement driver.
- Cancellations and disputes. Please notify us as soon as possible of any cancellation. Hours already worked are payable. Any cancellation charge will be set out in the booking; if none is set out, there is no cancellation charge. Any query about an invoice should be raised promptly by emailing accounts@drvx.co.uk; please pay any part you don’t dispute on time.
- Taking on a driver directly (transfer fee). If you want to employ or engage a driver we have supplied, directly or through another agency, during the supply or within 14 weeks of its start or 8 weeks of its end (whichever is later), please tell us. A transfer fee is only payable if its amount is agreed in writing before the supply starts. Instead of paying any transfer fee, you can choose to extend the hire for an agreed period, on the same terms, after which no fee is payable. If no transfer fee has been agreed, none is payable.
- Liability. We take reasonable care in checking and supplying drivers. Because drivers work under your supervision and direction, you are responsible for their work while they work for you, and for your vehicles, goods and premises. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by a driver while working under your direction, except to the extent it is caused by our own negligence or breach of these terms. Our total liability for each booking is limited to the charges for that booking, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
- Data protection. Each of us will handle personal information about drivers, staff and contacts lawfully under UK GDPR and only for the supply. Our privacy notice above explains how we use information.
- Complaints. Email complaints@drvx.co.uk. We aim to reply within 2 working days. Our full complaints procedure explains the steps. Billing questions go to accounts@drvx.co.uk.
- Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute.
